How to add a Sharp Hue hosted email in Outlook 2013

1. To add an account, go to File > +Add Account. (In Outlook 2010, this is located under Tools > Account Settings.)

2. Select Manual setup or additional server type then click Next.

3. Select POP or IMAP and then click Next.

4. Fill out the form with your Name, your full e-mail address / username, and your e-mail password. Enter mail.sharphue.com into both Incoming mail server and Outgoing mail server (SMTP). Select More Settings.

5. Under the Outgoing Server tab, check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.

6. Under the Advanced tab, change the Outgoing Server (SMTP) Port number to 587. Click OK.

7. Click Next and after the Account Settings have been tested, your account has been set up. Send a test e-mail to info@sharphue.com and we’ll let you know if we received it. Great Job!

  1. Go to your iPhone Settings and select Mail
  2. Choose Accounts
  3. Select Add Account…
  4. Select Other
  5. Select Add Mail Account
  6. Fill out the form with your Name, your Sharp Hue e-mail address, your e-mail password, and a description for the account (ex: Company Name). Select the Next button
  7. Select the IMAP button at the top of the screenFill in the settings for Incoming Mail Server. 
    1. Host Name: mail.sharphue.com
    2. User Name: [your email address]
    3. Password: [your password]
  8. Fill in the settings for Outgoing Mail Server 
    1. Host Name: mail.sharphue.com
    2. User Name: [your email address]
    3. Password: [your password] And press Next.
  9. Wait for settings to be verified…
  10. If you are prompted with “Cannot Connect Using SSL”, Select the Yes button
  11. Again, wait for settings to be verified…
  12. If you are prompted again with “Cannot Connect Using SSL”, Select the Yes button
  13. Press Save
  14. Select Company Name (the description for your account entered in Step 5)
  15. Select your Account
  16. Select SMTP
  17. Select mail.sharphue.com underneath Primary Server
  18. Ensure these three settings: SSL turned Off Authentication set to Password Server Port set as 587 
  19. Press Done and work your way back out to the main phone Settings
  20. That’s it! Send a test e-mail to test@sharphue.com and we’ll write you back to let you know if we received it. Great Job!
